SixPlay is a 6-piece, high-energy cover band featuring the double-dynamite vocal magic of Mary Lankford and Trinity Villnueva , supported by the back-up / male-lead vocals and keyboard mastery of Phil Adams, the deep, soulful pulse of bass-man Mark Baratz, the solid, versatile beats of Joe Nelson on drums, and the unbridled virtuosity of guitarist Steve Wilmarth—top-flight talents and seasoned professionals all.

With lush vocal harmonies, musical artistry and state-of-the-art equipment, SixPlay delivers a rich, fat sound you’d normally expect from a much bigger band.  And there’s no invisible wall between the band and the audience.  SixPlay makes a connection with the crowd practically from the moment we take the stage, because we don’t just play songs—we entertain people.  And we do it like no one else.

SixPlay hails from Gaithersburg, Maryland and has been entertaining local audiences in the Washington, DC area since the summer of 2006.  Though as a band we’re relatively new to the local music scene, our members are not, having several decades of combined experience as professional musicians.  SixPlay has been on regular rotation at some local venues, including Growlers and The Zodiac Grill in Gaithersburg, The Green Turtle in Germantown and Kirkpatrick’s Irish Pub in Ashburn, VA.  SixPlay also performs at private and corporate functions around the DC area.

SixPlay is available for most any type of event, including clubs, intimate parties, corporate events, festivals, community functions, bar & bat mitzvahs, weddings and other private parties.  We know that the success of your event depends on the quality of the entertainment, and we’ll work with you to make it a memorable one.
